I have a favor to ask of you.
Some of you know my Dad, others just know him through Facebook posts or
my stories. Dad has worked hard on creating a list he calls his "Boomer
100" in which he picks the most influential top 100 songs of the Baby
Boomer generation. This isn't a "best of" list, but one that he's given
a lot of thought to that is most reflective of the 50s-80s and cultural
milestones of the time.
He has been working on this list on and off for two years, and has
posted it online. He really wants to get feedback from others, which is
why I'm writing. Will you please take a moment to visit his blog? It
has a link to his "Boomer 100" song selections.
Take a look and please
leave a comment on his blog about why you agree or disagree with
various selections, or if he's left something off. It's an interesting
list and look back at the past 40+ years of music.
He's going to post the final answers Sept. 20, and would really
appreciate your thoughts. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone,
music lover, Boomer, child of Boomer, pop culture aficianado -- and
encourage them to leave comments on his blog. It will mean a lot to
him, and to me!
Let me know if you have any questions and thanks rockers.
